Hmmm... the Gotoh does give a different tone. Its trem block is solid brass compared to the Ibanez Edge's splewter (can't rem the spelling) block. I would say... its a slightly brighter tone but not brittle. Harmonics have improved too! However, the Edge has a much better and smoother feel.
