Here are some of my favourites

Tommy Emmanuel - Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Beatles Medley, Windy & Warm, Classical Gas
Don Ross - Afraid to Dance, The First Ride

Care to share your favourites, I'd like to know more great fingerstyle players.

Pier.

Both of you guys listed some kick ass players. Is anyone here familiar with Michael Hedges. He is one of my favorites.

I just discovered Laurence Juber - Pass the Buck, Last Train, and a whole lot of beatles arrange for fingerstyle... like his playing, melody over technique.

I used to be quite crazy about fingerstyle...Doyle Dykes, Michael Hedges all those.

I couldn't play it for nuts though, so I stuck to blues

But sometimes it's easy to forget where it all comes from, and when that happens, just go to youtube and type in Chet Atkins.

No 2 handed tapping, just good ole' melody and self-accompaniment.

john mayer - neon
john mayer - your body is a wonderland (a bit boring tho)
eric clapton - tears in heaven
extreme - more than words
green day - good riddance

anw wad abt stanley jordan, insane jazz style tapping

Jiffy Jam - Source unknown, covered by Jeery Hubbard.

Those who know me know I always use that to "show off" a bit.

Although I'm very rusty at playing it. :(

Hmmm ... I don't have a favourite piece .... but i like Martin Taylor and Joe pass ... oh yes not forgetting George Benson ... he did a solo version of "Tenderly" .... he's a master. Chet and Tommy are grandmasters .... but not really into them.
