Maybe you could wear a "Bus Drivers: I am a student." t-shirt?

i was wearing my Sec School PE tshirt and i had to pay adult fare. i pointed it to him repeatedly, my EZ link was spoilt( put it at home, didn't see why i needed to make a new one). :x

It gives me more motion sickness, a sense of space constraint and insects are mostly found there. you know, deep down there.

Can't poly students buy concession passes?

Yeah. Some bus drivers are nice. That "aiya, go la." happened to me quite a few times already.

Yeah poly students can buy concession. But wait till you see the prices and see why we're all grumbling. Personally i only buy the MRT conc,since that's what takes up alot of money. But i miss paying only 55 cents for all bus rides. Bus rides for tertiary students(esp non feeder trips) are exp.

best part of all, recent news avail that public transport has lost few million of fares due to ppl tapping out b4 exiting or did not pay the fare while entering or tap in, etc........how the hell they lost that much money where some even forget to tap out b4 exiting.... :twisted:

Hey, few years back, when I board buses(from interchange) and stand next to the exit...

People tap when they entered the bus then walk to the back door and tap again.

so, does that make any price paid difference??

lol i also have loads of complaints about little faults here n there with the public transport system...hahaha...but my malaysian friend was like so impressed by our system, n when i complained to him, he said "U singaporeans are spoilt rotten lah!" :roll:

so our govt's claims tt our transport system is "world class" is true to some extent?

if u taking the feeder bus...no diff coz price is fix.......if u already tap out and 2nd time tap...no deduction made becoz system WILL prompt "EXIT OK"

yeah lah u all ah....

i do find TIBS or SMRT buses good, even better than SBS. Firstly, I have never seen a drunk driver in TIBS, secondly they always smile to me cos I smile at them, thirdly, they will wait for the elderly to sit down before speeding off. SBS never does that, poor old man or lady had to like hang on for poor life.

I have always had an enjoyable ride on TIBS/SMRT buses. Just dislike SBS. Some SBS bus drivers purposely look at the other direction just to miss your frantic waving if they travelled too fast and forced to skip a stop.

As for poly and JC, yeap I dont see why poly pay more, or should pay more. Pay thro our nose for the 3 year course, then still pay adult fare.. Should throw this to the PAP during election.

Talkin about transport fees, watch for the hike man. They already stated that they are gonna raise the transport fees once the election is over. Progress my ass lah. Another one of those "am i really gaining" schemes.

i have taken b4 and awahahaha.......if u talking abt how the passenger over there, is like damn pack..........if u talking abt bus driver, here my experience,once in malacca, the bus driver even stop by the side of the road with passenger in the bus and buy drink at the side of the road......wtf :twisted:

oh i've got one more. bus driver missed a stop! and he accused me of not pressing the bell so there is no way he can let me off the bus. which was definitely untrue... but he reluctantly let me down at the side of the road (no traffic at all) as the next bus stop was still quite far away. not before he dagger stared though :evil: he still works with sbs, sometimes i get unlucky and board the bus that he has a shift on
