Doesn't seem to be much talk about this here. So, I would like to ask those who have been fortunate enough to play with this baby, how does it compare to other digital delay modelers such as the DD20 and the DL4?
today i heard someone say the nova was better, i have owned the dd20 n still own a DL4. and im using the timefactor mainly. they al have their strong points of course. but id say the timefactors better on the modulation side. it does purely delay very well as well. the DL4 gives u the options of a number of different kinds of delays (e.g: DMM etc) but maybe bout 60-70%of what the original is. the DD20 is an amazing delay and simple too. it lacks in the options department but with its hardy tap tempo and 5 presets and industry standard repeats. its hard to beat. the DL4 on my board gives me the options i need along with the looper. the time factor i use mainly for modded delays - simple digital delays. i also have an RV-3 on my board which basically gives me all the options i need.
