it probably is for advertisement purpose, i think its because he is sponsored/endorsed by esp, but he likes the mockingbird shape so he probably jus fitted a esp neck into a bc rich body haha

esp japan made all sorts of signature instruments for huge pool of j rockers where the shape of the instrument, up to headstock with slight alteration, all look kinda similar to fender, gibson and some other brands.
