ESP EC series

we need not cite a particular dealer for price references. they have their own reasons to tag their items as such.

we also need to know that some dealers get their stock from others.

that matt finish you see @ Davis is an exclusive anniversary model, it's not a regular production unit.

i deem it to be a superb guitar for the money. the finish is acquired taste, definitely.

Eh sorry but what guitar is this?Is it still available? If it is how much is it and where do i get it?

Have tried a few of these LTD's and they are good value for money or even better.

Might work hard for an ESP custom to my spec tho ;)

Woah, got to the thread a lil late, but here is some of my input

@Midnight: Check out the price of LTD EC series here versus the Eclipse II (note the LTD line is called EC instead of EClipse because it is supposed to be a more budgeted counterpart *even the model name also budget*)

You will see a whooping USD $410 difference between the highest LTD EC-1000 (Floyd Rose version) model and the standard Eclipse II. So if you are cool to pay the difference, an Eclipse might be the way to go. However, if you are wanna some really good LTD EC, you can try the lower range (the EC-256 or EC-401) which are bang for bucks kinda Eclipse u can get.

@gsonique: awhile ago, someone was selling this custom shop "bolt-on" Eclipse in sparkle gold finish that kinda look awful & the trademark of Eclipse is the bulging body which is contrary to that custom shop piece (which looks like a "zhnged" model of EC-50). I am wondering what happened to the QC of the custom shop.

@subversion: +1 regarding about the post where u stated that playing metal is not purely based on the pickups. Many new guitar players got the misconception that unless they use EMGs or metal-shaped looking guitar, they probably never be able to play metal music, which is

@learning2play: that is as what sub stated - the anniv model in matte black finish (i mean they only got 1 finish for that haha). The retail if I am not wrong is SGD $1399. Don't take my word for it. Call em' now and check.

Well, as you should already know how losely the term "custom shop" used by manufacturers and resellers to pimp sales.

Precisely.

Every time I pass by Davis and this particular creature keeps talking to me, hypnotizing me to bring it home!!
