I just ordered the Eric Clapton gain boost kit - any feedback (from softies, not from the guitar  ) about this product...?

I would rather put it in a pedal ..... its a transistor mid range booster with a tbx (i like) :D which is a nice combo since the tbx gets killer 'brights' ....if you are 'just guitar to amp' kinda fella ...just shove in the cavity

no - not like emg .... circuit board bigger. I tried the EC model before & liked the 25db boost - just a little bit too powerful though - and as I'm doing up a replica blackie now, I ordered it to match EC's specs...

Gsonique - love that pussy

the path to attainment is to watch and not get affected by it. To feel, but not feeding to the hunger and lastly, to watch, but not thru the eyes but with the sight of mind thru the sign of time..

i disgust talkin to juve's .....get back to topic

btw that mid boost you got there is transistor based ...should be nice and bright aye .... :D Are you using it with singles or hums ??

I had a Fender Clapton Strat, then I built another using a MIJ body and a Warmoth maple neck. Fender makes them with extra routing under the pickguard for the circuit board and in the trem cavity for the battery. I don't think you will be able to install it without routing the body.

I highly recommend the circuit. I also put Bill Lawrence pups in it, along with some different switching options. Big improvement over the Fender Noiseless.

paid in USD .

all other specs as per EC blackie

alder body, maple neck .. it's gona be an exact replica of the EC CUSTOM SHOP model (not the regular EC Artist series) ...

fender vintage noisless pup .

i feel like adding the mid boost to my squier too.. almost same specs except for the rosewood fretboard and the pickups

gsoniquecat...
