ahh pooo, your musical influences sure surpasses your ages...
i luv that song too... its nothing but wackiness and fun...
COOL MAN!!!

It's that tone. That classic richness in Billy Gibbon's tone that draws me!

definitely part of it. Cos Vai wasn't in there

Yea.. it would have been nice to watch him play "I'm the Hell Outta Here"

the other guy, Doyle Bramhall's tone's better than claptons'

He really ought to stop using the noiseless pickups, they're really bad.

yea, I thought his tone on the show was really horrid, compared to his classic tone in his heavy blues days,

he ought to stop using those pick ups, but i guess he's under contract so i guess he's got no choice. doyle bramhall's slide work's really good.

wow the show was awesome! the players were old but they still rock man...

i love BB king man, so old but still got so much style!

Buddy guy would be my favourite, followed by Robert Randolph, then BB King, then the green shirt guy who used delay ..
Buddy guy can really get the crowd going man... Robert Randolph lap-steel playing is awesome... and BB King, always willing to entertain.. loved it when he did the "rock you till my back got no bone" thingie...
These guys were the highlights for me... Clapton's tone like a bit inconsistent. Last week I saw him on the Bluesbreaker reunion the tone like veri thin lidat. But he still rocked on Layla and Cocaine.

There really ought to be more of these shows on Art Central!

Pier.

i find hubert (what's his surname) very like tired. he's too old i think. dont like his style as much as guy and king

Liked buddy, the way he teased the solos out of the other players. Loved Randolph and his pedal steel. And was quite suprise that John Mayer's playing, he has chops man! This show is a guitarist's wet dream come true  Hope they make this an annual event.

Me fav were EC, Buddy, John Mayer was fresh n inspiring... ZZ top always make me sit up, but their solos always the same... Expected more from this little town from texas, afterall Billy is Hendrix's fav guitarist.

buddy guy and robert randolf WERE smoking!
i like buddy's energy and randolf's solos on the pedal steel were very tasteful.

Clapton's set with santana. Real good stuff, gets you moving.

Randolf and his pedal steel were great too, first time I've ever watched someone play a pedal steel proper.

I myself was pretty impressed by John Mayer's chops. And as usual, there's that comedic rush when you see the huge ass beard and the pimping hat, and then suddenly, the thought "BILLY GIBBONS!!!" hits you like a freight train. Kinda disappointed that he didn't play Pearly Gates on his set though, that thing I daresay, is the BEST sounding LP I've ever heard.
