Barcelona players, as class as they are, just aren't up for a dogfight at all.. Bunch of dirty players some of them are too..

@ the anti liverpool thing

Thats just making it sound bad, who praised us when we lost to Man Utd?People said Man Utd were lucky, yup. But most people were basically having a go at us, the media love to hate us. Now only Man Utd fans can get away with chanting MURDERERS and making choking noises at us, and get praised the next day.

We deserved the praise for the way we played against Barca. Champions League matches are effectively 180min of football. We did great in the first half, and we were up for a fight in the 2nd, end of the day its the aggregate that counts.

I swear there are people in the media that just can't resist having a go at Liverpool, just after the Barca match, Eamon Dunphy actually said, and i quote, "Gerrard - Nothing player."

Hate him, love him, but to say he's a nothing player is just ignorant. I hate Cristiano Ronaldo, but I'll say he's a great player that could walk into almost any team.

Now I'm not saying that Pool are world-beaters either, far from it, but neither do we deserve that kind of talk. We need better finishing or better luck finishing. I can't stand battering other team and losing 1-0 again.

Mark Bickell = Twat.

k.m.a: i always had the impression that the french are weak.

bam: i read at the back of men's health that its OK to beat someone up in certain situations. one of them is if they suan the team you support

Fran Merida signs professional terms
Fran Merida has signed professional terms with Arsenal.

The skilful Spanish midfielder arrived at the Club in the summer of 2006, after previously playing in Barcelona’s youth set-up, and has made seven appearances for the Reserves this season.

The 17-year-old hit a great goal on his debut at Boreham Wood last summer. He repeated the feat in his Reserve team bow against Tottenham Hotspur.

Merida has made two appearances in the FA Youth Cup this season and helped Steve Bould’s Under-18s to top spot in the Academy League with three goals in 11 appearances.

He was also an unused substitute for the first team in the Carling Cup tie at Everton in November.
