Epiphone les paul

can anyone help me?

hi.. can anyone help me in checking where the epiphone les paul 100 is made in from swee lee... i mean which country is it produced in..

a good guitar is a good guitar, regardless the country of origin.

but, having said that, n nothing against china, but.

yeah, it is not due to no reason that people complain about their product. the quality is often not there...

but they're improving, yea..

back in the 80's, similar words are being said to made in korea stuffs, n look where they are now.

There was once a time when people thought the MIJ products were bad. Look at the quality in japanese products now. I guess it goes the same for MIC products. There's a lot of bad rep around the MIC label but that dosent mean in time to come the MIC products can't be equally good in quality. It's a hit or miss when it comes to these kinda things.... Hey even MIA stuff mess up at times... hehehe

I too have my experiences with a MIC epiphone les paul custom which i bought in korea. When i brought it back to SG and gave it an upgrade, The stock wiring was horrendous.... Seriously.... It was a mess and the soldering was less than impressive.

But....

after the upgrade, The guitar was great! I didnt experience any problems with the wood. It held together well and sounded great. I think an upgrade of some switches and wiring should solve your problem. It shouldn't cost too much.

look for beez

Hmm.

I can only suggest that you take your guitar to a qualified tech or repair person like KC. Man knows his stuff and his track record has been proven. Do, however, be prepared to pay.

Also, like anything you own, do take care of your instrument. That's a suggestion that seems to be lacking in this forum, considering what most people suggest is to buy something from a place of better repute (no disagreements here), or to just buy something average and upgrade the heck out of it (I've done that too many times myself).
