Whats your input on this guitar?

I've got a few questions

1. Heard it beats the shit out of Gibson LP Studios?

2. Would you get this over a Gibson LP Studio?

3. Is it alot better than the normal Epiphones?

4. 59' or 60's slim tapered neck?

5. Poly-urethane or Nitro-cellulose finish?

6. What's the colour of the plush in the hardcase? (If you have it!)

1: Never heard of an Epiphone beating Gibson
2: Not a fan of Studio, but i will get a Gibson standard LP. Or else, just a regular Epiphone LP standard.
3: I don't feel there's a lot of difference between this and the normal one, except pickups
4: I believe this it's a slim tapered neck.

6: Black (Most or maybe all plush in epiphone hardcase is in black

check out the review. If you want to compare it with a studio, I'd say it's either on par or might be better. But not anything above the studio.

I believe this piece is capable of outdoing a Gibson plus these babies are fitted with American electronics.the only difference between this is the nitrocellulose finishes of their Gibson counterparts.

the colour of the interior of case is purple.but you will only be able to get it thru sweelee, which is around 2.2k to 2.4k

That is true. The Elitist line has been discontinued recently by Gibson.

Its been confirmed in an email from Gibson to a forum member over at www.mylespaul.com
American distributors have also confirmed that no other shipments for the Elitist will be coming in anymore
