I've been GASsing for one for a long long time...now wondering if its the right decision to get one o0...
has any1 have past experiences with this? Is it worth it?

I have..it was my 1st every electric 11 years ago when it was made in Korea back then. I recently sold it ( I think it was my 3rd time I owned in my 13 years of playing) cos I couldn't get used to the neck but man, it does have awesome tone clean n overdriven. Looks great too. But don't expect it to do metal chugga chugga . The China made one that I used to own isn't that bad at all.

I'd say it's good to get it or u could consider the Rally Neosound as another alternative. Its sold at SV :)

I own a Std and a Studio version. Gotta say, both have very wide open sound, but the stock pickup is a tad too weak for heavy rock stuffs.

If you are intent on playing blues or classic rock, it should give u just the sound u need. Do note, it is relatively bulkier.

if u're planning to get one cos tom delonge uses a gibson semi hollow then just do it.

cos when u get it u'll feel like tom delonge, enabling u to feel more inspired, thus playing better.

Oh yes, the TD model is another model to consider. Even I myself did not like the one pickup configuration, I love the neck..its smooooootttthhh :) and if the Epi Dot's neck was like that of the TD model, I would have kept the Dot :P

Nope, im looking to play more mellow stuff...and the TD model breaks the bank.
and i dont really like having signature models...cuz i think their totally overpriced...i can take a hello kitty squier, put the name ''Joe Satrini signature'' on it, and sell it for a thousand..

btw, dudelove wtf is your prob..
just cause i fitted a guitar with an invader then every guitar i buy is cuz i wanna sound like tom delonge?

what???!

u actually think i was being sarcastic? dude. in case u didnt know blink 182 is my first band i've ever liked and they made me start listening to music.

dude i meant no offence in that post at all.

if a gun n roses fan buys a les paul cos he wants to emulate slash, if it inspires him and makes him play better, why not?

hmm...
maybe i misunderstood. my bad.... But it does sound quite sarcastic, especially from wut u said on the squier bullet special review...

but nvm. thnks for all the help guys

if u read it properly i was defending you.

and there's nothing wrong with wanting to emulate a certain artist. i emulate the bands i like by keeping long hair.
