yeahh spend it on a real gibson.. or if $$ is the issue. you might wanna try those tokais.. which is about 900dollars if i still remember correctly..

no offence but being dismissive of a brand name is being snobbish. i used to dismiss the Tokai/ Edward/ Burny singlecuts until i tried them in person. these brand names are not about riding on the LP appeal per se (isn't Epi doing just that?), they are really well-made & good sounding guitars.

gibsons are overpriced

What's what people who secretly desire one but can't afford one say. Just kidding.

Seriously. You're going to be playing this guitar for some time. (I hope). I'd save more money, and invest in a real Gibson. It's not exactly over priced when you look at some other sources. Any Les Paul standard brand new below $3k would be worth considering. and that's just a few hundred mroe than an Elitist.
