Hi there, and recommendations? i'm going for a string change soon i've tried SL, DR and Pyramid string i've heard that ernie ball is quite good too.

There are two brands I use... Ernie Ball and D'addarios. I use the Ernie Ball Slinky range and D'addario Phosphor Bronze strings.

If you're willing to spend $11 per pack, you could also try Everly strings, available at a local online shop (http://www.bgwguitars.com/). Delivers right to your home within a few days. I've tried those and I liked them very much.

If I remember correctly Zen guitarwerks sells everly strings too.If im not wrong the string i saw there was Everly. You can try the curt mangan strings at guitar 77 or the dr duck strings.

'good' is subjective. many of us are attracted to the EB strings because they give off this crunchy feel when fresh.

Are Pyramids pure nickel? Care to share why you love them so much? I might pop by SV soon, might grab a few packs.

i always use GHS. personal preference. seem to laast longer. if not, dean markley!

Yup they last long and sound great, and are quite affordable too. I'd be using them if they didn't break on me all the time... The Silk and steels acoustic set is so far among the nicest acoustic strings I've used.

Sounds delicious and tempting lol. and EB never heard of it where can i get em?

EB can be found at Ranking at Bras Basah & guitar shops in Penin and Excelsior (basement).

I use D'addarios.

Well i like my dean markley blue steels. for its nice rounded and warm tones. but recently i feel like its quality is not what it used to be when it was first released. now the quality is much cheaper...
