Does anyone know how can I connect two LCD screen to one CPU?? And the result is not two same image, but both linked to each other, in another word, it extend the wideness of the screen. How eh?? I heard comments that you can either buy one video card with two outputs, or simply buy two video cards. And another also told me that you can simply can a Y-cable where one end of the cable have got one head, and the other end will split into two heads. Which one is true eh?? If all options are possible, which one is better eh??

it is the video card that you need to check out. my card has 2 output. when connected to 2 monitors, simply set it in the software and i will be able to have more things on the desktop.

look for a card that supports Dual Monitor Display

Actually the Y cabel will not give you what you are looking for. Y cable will only give you two monitors with same image. Graphics card with dual connections usually 1 VGA and 1 DVI or 2 DVIs will give you what you need. Also using 2 single connector display cards will also yield the desired results. Just be careful of compatibility problems.

Best bet, go with display cards with dual monitor support

To put it simply, you need a graphic card with 2 or more output, one analogue and one digital maybe? Your graphic driver will auto-detect the usage of two monitors and you just have to follow through the graphic settings from there. You don't need to buy 2 cards, you don't need to tap the wires, just buy a card that supports 2 or more output. :D

I don't really believe in "modifying" something, especially when it comes to PC stuffs. It's practically and technically different from modifying a car engine bay.
