DTXplorer vs DTXpress 4

Hey fellow softies, i've got a few questions regarding these two.

Should i get a DTXplorer, then upgrade it or should i get a DTXpress 4 straight?

Which would be more worth it?

Hey man. Honestly it depends on what you play. If you play jazz, a DTxplorer will be enough. Then again if you play Jazz, an acoustic set would be much better as you learn to play softly in the 1st place

But say if you play rock, DTxpress would be better, as you have cymbals that can be choked, and stuff like that. If price is not the issue, just go for DTxpress

I think that you should get a roland drum set instead.

I have tried the dtxplorer before and both drum sets share the same bass , hi hat pedal and rubber pads and i thought the roland hi hat pedal is much better than yamaha's hi hat pedal while roland td-4 or td-9 ( around the same price ) ( without all mesh pads ) their drum sounds are better.
Esp td-9 and both models provide you with a hi hat that looks like hi hat instead of yamaha providing u with just a rubber pad which is kind of difficult for me to aim.
But td-4 does not have songs or sounds at the module for you to play along while td-9 drum kits sounds very professional.
