Double Pedals

$380.. hmm, rather pay 100 more and get some piece in mind..

i got mine for $480.
u mean which one is better in terms of powerglide, rolling glide and flexi-glide?

i can't decide for u which is the best.. u have to check it out urself... different glides have different feel.. go to www.tama.com and read up abit on the pedals information. mine is powerglide. as mentioned, the model name speaks for itself. it's smooth and i really like it.. :D

apparently, mine was quite a bad experience. i asked him to let me try the others... (flexi and rolling).. he said powerglide is the best..
i mean i want to try! no point telling me whether which one is the best mah. if i'm not wrong, the flexi has "floating" action.i wanted to try and get what tama meant!! but anyway, i didn't have a chance to play with the other 2. but i like my powerglide in any case. :D

they DON'T display all 3. but u can ask. no harm asking. dunno if they will be kind enuff to open up a set to let u try. some ppl actually like the rolling glide, like the flexi-glide. quite a mixed of taste. and i think the description tama put for every iron cobra is very very correct. (at least for my powerglide.. so true. it's so POWER!!) and since u've picked powerglide, go for it man!! :D

-_-.. it's da same dude. unless u got a fren there and he's willing to do something for nice for u. go to aljunied one if possible. i doubt that bras basah got the stocks. but pls dun quote me. safer to go aljunied.

i think one of the best customer service is still ranking sports lah. haha, sorries, off topic.

i only been there(swee lee in aljunied) once. they were not as nice as ranking sports staff. u can say that they are lazy and rude.. think i dun need to say much. alot of ppl know how the service is there lah. just dig up some threads. :p

ranking sports is one of the best man. my fren went to test a electric violin last sunday. apparently, the violin was out of tuned and my fren couldn't tune for them because there isn't any tuning knob.. 3 staff attended to my friend. and they were friendly. we were there for only 15 minutes or so. and they gladly talked to us about violins and stuff. very friendly.
there was once i was looking for a bass drum pad. they took out and offered me if i wanted to try or not.

whereas for swee lee(bras basah) ar, bad service. waited at the violin counter with my fren for like 20 mins or so. after he attended to one guy, he attended to another knowing that we were still waiting! anyway, he passed us the fender electric violin and we told him to plug in cos we wanted to hear the sound. wah lau, after 15 mins of technical difficulty, he told us the violin spoilt?!! so ridiculous anyway. 35 mins of waiting and nothing done.

best is if u know anyone in swee lee, approach that person u know and just buy through that person. most of the time, i buy thru kalai(bras basah).

oh. okie... hahah.
but only sweelee sells iron cobras right?

btw, what's the cheapest price for it? i was quote $480 by sweelee at sims.

Hey looking for a decent Dbl pedal but not too ex. Mend for prastice use. Any recommendation? HELP~~~

there are cheaper ones. like lazer.
or u can trying waiting at luthermusic.com for someone to selling their dbl pedals. remember seeing them selling at $200 and even lesser.

So is the quality of the double pedal good? hmmm......i really got no knowledge on that.

Thru friend , they told me that the height of the pedal can be ajustment. Is it true?

Anyone out there can teach how to train on dbl pedalling?

quality wise, i don't know. but i've used lazer single pedals before.
i will rate 5/10. but of cos, it's not as versatile as the iron cobras. u can't adjust much.
height of the pedal? are u referring to beater height?

train double pedalling? if ur legs can play what ur hands play, that's "shen" liao. for me, i train rudiments and fill-ins for double pedalling. leg control exercises.

Well, for under $200, what will you expect. One Tama Iron Cobra price is equivalent to Three Lazer Double Pedal price.

So if the Lazer is 1/2 as good as the iron cobra, I think it's already more than worth the price. So far I've being using the Lazer in my studio for 1.5yrs already. You can imagine the abuse it suffer in a jamming studio. It's still in one piece. So I'd say, it's very good pedal.

That's why I more than reccomend Lazer to my budget conscience customers cause I use them.

iron cobras are like, the supreme double pedals. other than axis lar. it's one of the most versatile pedals. but the price tag is kinda ex.

at first i thought just get a cheap cheap one. but you see, you can treat your iron cobras as investment.

precisely. if u wanna get a good feel of iron cobras, u can go guitar77 studio. i went there to practise my drums. 1hour 5 dollars, weekdays, 10am to 6pm.

spend abit more and u won't regret.
