Floyd-rose, locked down at the trem, and just below the headstock.

If using a floyd rose style trem. the guitar will have less bass, and less body to the tone. Tone becomes thinner.

Of course, to "test" the theory, just block your floyd rose with a good solid piece of wood/metal, or use the Tremol-no.

Applies to all trem systems actually, with the least "tone suck" happening with less extreme trems. Vintage, 6 screw trems have the less "tone suck" going on, but people who don't use them, just hit on 5 springs and have them locked down, might as well, for more tone.
