what im thinking, is to add a few coat of protective layer onto the binding as it seems to wear off easily. since its not lacquered, the wax/oil should be able to be absorb into the wood?

oh man bro, how did you managed to bring the gunstock oil over, i need help to get gunstock oil for my US masters man, the finish on the neck is something like the ernie ball kinda feel. Or do you happen to know anywhere in singapore tt i can get gunstock oil from? Thanks. sorry to potong jalan ,bro, hope you dont mind as i am also looking for kinda the same stuff as you .

Ya, you can try the local gun shops to see if they have these items. No way vpost gonna deliver the tru-oil here. The items are marked as ORM-D, means "Other Regulated Materials". It will not be shipped out of US bcos its combustible by nature and US Custom will not let items to board the flight. Only way to get them is to find dealers who are willing to take the risk and ship direct to you.

eh sorry to dig up an old thread.

my nitro finish has pretty lot of scratches from my playing.

Or get those plastic films you put over PDAs and stuff - like on acoustic guitars.
