Hi fellow softies, i bought this http://www.ducksdeluxe.com/ddaxwax.html from standard value recently and i was wondering if i can actually use it to clean the body of my acoustic guitars which are soild top(without any form of lacquer(?))and maple fret boards? I asked the Standard Value guy working today and he told me he have not tried.

And lastly, are they able to clean cymbals and stands and such too?

Hope to get the answers soon so i can start cleaning them up without damaging anything. Thanks guys!

Will there be any bad effects on SATIN finish?

Hmm, Should not be a problem i guess. This Wax contains no acid and many other harmful stuff. Anyone care to clarify about the satin finish? I am curious too.

Satin finish as in after waxing, or whether it can be used on a satin finish?

Can it be used on a satin finish? Heard that these type of cleaners may "take" out the satin layer.

Check this out There's a part that says..

"If your neck has a satin finish it was applied to make the neck faster by reducing drag. Don't use wax, polish or oils on these necks, as it will diminish this benefit."
