Do you still Remember your 'First' Pedal?

zoom was like one of the best for newbies wanting to learn about effects! esp with the amount of patches available w the internet as well.

Like lots of you guys I had a zoom g2.. 1st analog pedal was a vox wah modded by goose, still have and use it.

seems like everyone had distortion/overdrive as their first pedal.
so did i, my first was a Vox Satchurator. XD

a Boss DS-2, then I traded it for my REAL first pedal, \m/ MI Audio Crunchbox \m/

same leh. Those days I wanted the "Smells like teen spirit" tone so bad I'd do anything to get my hands on a DS-2. Then I realised, that tone can only be obtained by the ever so rare MIJ version of it.

my first was an AMT RAMMSTEIN(orange) bought at davis $139 on 2003...still have it! and still does the job for me..

my first pedal was a behringer gdi21, which was a carbon copy of tech21's sansamp gt2. it was not a bad pedal for distortion and it was $75 as luthers so made economical sense for poor student me to get it.

after that came a bunch of more behringers, boss, tried boutique, modded all my boss's with mods that costs more than the pedals themselves and finally concluded with a pod x3 live and now a pod hd500.

started out with a modellers and now, back to modellers and lovin it.

Korg AX100G. A good mfx at least to me back then. Stayed with me for some good years. Then I found soft and sucked the poisonous GAS. The pedal is with a friend now, maybe 1 of these days I'll borrow it and relive the good old days

Danelecto T-Bone Distortion pedal.. still in my rig after 10 years

sprayed-paint it black as the original color kinda doesn't match the sound it kicks out
took out the danelectro logo too lol

Boss MT2

Back in the early 90s, this one is rockin' box
...until you discover handwired botique peds that makes your bank account near to zero.:p

First pedal

Boss Metalzone. I used to think that was the ultimate pedal. haaaa!! all that gain and feedback.. talking about pedals.. CAN anyone tell me is the Goosoniqueworx 7th heaven really as goood as what people say? I heard so much about its versatility, excellent tone and just how good it is. I mean for the price, it better be goood. Is it reallly one of the ultimate pedal available in the market?

Mine was a Modtone Speedbox distortion, bought it off a nice chap. Had an awesome sound that was very flexible, but I found it lacking when I wanted a mild distortion. It could do heavy stuff, but not the lighter material I prefer

A 2nd hand Marshall Jackhammer that I got for 60bucks. It's dead now and works as a paper weight.

It was a brand spanking new DS-2 back in 1996. My friend borrowed it soon after I bought it and I haven't seen it since.
