DIY customising the look of your guitar

I want to change the look of my plain ESP F series guitar. I've seen people use epoxy resin to decorate their fretboards, it gives a really artistic look to it. I've also seen people getting special stickers that are meant for guitars and decorating theirs with it. I want to customise it so that it is not very plain, what methods are there to customise the look of it?

You could get decals, which could cost about 30 dollars?
Or get a custom paint job which would set you back about 200 bucks.

Or you could always do it yourself, which would either cost nothing or a new guitar lol

This is my DIY version of evh frankenstein.....it's not perfect & it's never meant to be.:)

:) just need a few spray cans & go with the flow.Highly encourage softies with beat up guitars to diy it instead of leaving it underutilised.

this is currently my "craziest" guitar... haha ..
