Hey guys , i need you to recommend me a distortion pedal thats suitable for metal/punk/rock and also good for solos and long sustain .
Will be good if you give me the product review and the price and where can i get it in SG .

i think very slightly above 200 at tymc. its david barber's latest pedal.

u can find out abt the metalzone by doing a search on soft. seems like when there's metal involved someone just has to bring it up

I've heard an MT-2 and I really don't think it's worth the money. The tone is just horrible. Thin and overly trebly. Talking about the stock ones here. The modded ones are better and you should be able to get them secondhand for less than $200. The HM-2 and the ML-2 are better but I'm not sure if they're available anymore, though you can always try secondhand.

I'd also recommend the Beta Aivin HM-200. Not a well-known brand, but really awesome, powerful tone, and it's incredibly versatile too. (www.standardvalue.com.sg)

yes, it just shows that boss has such a great reputation among musicians. the first ever effects pedal brand i've known is boss. so everyone will just go look for boss pedals when they first start out. and when they love metal. the metalzone seems to sound godlike. (name wise not tone wise)

Quite a small shop, but really cool stuff. More pedals than guitars of course. They also have a range of BYOC pedal parts so you can 'make' your own pedals. Really cool little shop.
