Abt playing originals, it depends on the band, you see, if a organiser, organise a gig for tribute.. band can play their represent band and their own originals, it doesnt mean band have to play all cover, it all depends on the band itself not the organiser.. Playing gig, is not only playing songs, it abt showmanship... getting the crowd to have fun.


I know paradigm dayz.. that was like 3 years ago..!! Sad But True, the scene wont be same after some years. Now I go gig and I didnt see familiar face that I saw 3 years ago.. must due to NS or other commitments..

agreed with joshua. i miss the old paradigm days too. even gashaus had its fair share of decent gigs(think Ultimate Metal Dosage with Sledge and the mighty Sabbat gig last year).

in any case, xanadoo is performing a set at music garage on saturday 5th april, alongside blood stone and other excellent thrash and grind bands. do come down and support.

PS: we'll play mostly stuff off our 2 releases.

"who care play original or what?" - i do. a lot of people do. i would much rather go to a gig where i hear bands showcasing their own songwriting talent, rather than trying to emulate-and more often than not, failing to- pay 'tribute' to their idols. i mean, sure throw in a few covers here and there, but essentially, i wanna hear YOUR material. who cares if youre the best metallica coverband in singapore, or south east asia?

as long we play covers cos we respect our idols and for those who love that band its self for those who enjoy the band we cover


cmon....look at mecenarians....they got great orignials to yet they cover maiden

look at schapoids...they got some serious guitar original works yet they cover metallica

Look at black cats..they cover helloween yet we doing some originals to...

look at dark ulver....they do covers..but they can create songs like behemoth all those...

we dont play for fame or money or anything.....(for my case)

we play for the ppl entertain the ppl with any songs they want to listen to.....

ppl request us helloween so we play for them...

so there ....i would like to thanks to zul for doing this tribute gig

his a good organiser.....for the reason he make this gig cos to reunite metal head....

we not like arrogant ppl who think highly for themself or think like wow the past is better or for fame...

we are entertainers we play bands to entertain ppl with what they want..........
