hi,

have any one of u tried on Groundwound and Halfround Bass Strings?

sad to say this is the first time im restringing my bass :? ..

i went to http://www.tunemybass.com/strings/bass_strings_1.html

and they did explain on the different strings. but to me the explanations are quite brief..

so anyone tried on groundwound or halfround strings before?
can share your views on it? thx! :wink:

TI Jazz rounds are like halfrounds - I use them for my fretless basses and they provide an incredible muah to it.

but can u like tell me the difference between groundwound n halfrounds?
eg. what type of tone they produce or whatsoever..

according to the website, they are not as bright as roundwounds but brighter than flatwounds. have you even tried flatwounds before?

if you're new, just go with roundwounds. They are probably cheaper too
