Deal gone bad: Sellers Beware

Haha sure, would you like me to post pictures of the PCB and sound clips with the ticking? I'm sure those who know me on soft would attest to my character, going around slandering people is just not my style, you know? ;)

And Krist, I would post if I had a good deal if let's say 99% of the deals on SOFT were bad ones. In that case it'll be such an abnormal case I'd have the irresistable compulsion to post and extol the virtues of this absolute angel I dealt with compared to the rest. In this case, 99% of the deals I've had on SOFT were good and there's this 1% which I felt such be surfaced as a warning to the rest. Explanation suffice?

Also, please note that I have not said "&^*(@%)(#% that @%U#(%^(% ripped me off" or "boo hoo i got cheated now I'm crying in a corner". Instead, I've given my side of the story and a warning to the rest about this particular person. Yes, all my messages to him were with copious amounts of courtesy. After all, one makes mistakes and I shouldn't be quick to condemn no?

I asked James for permission to post this as I knew that other bad deal threads didn't go down so well but I felt that it would be a good warning to the rest.

However, this has all been amicably resolved, hence I will retract whatever negative statements I have made on this thread.

i dont think mero has to lie about it.

i guess its a lesson learnt
we'll just all have to be a little more careful when we buy things.
trying on the spot would be ideal

mero has PM me and said that he and the seller had resolved the problem privately.

As such, I will close this thread now.
