DD-3,DD-6 and DD-7????????

the differences are easy to find dude, just take a few minutes and google it. anyway the dd-6 is out of production if i'm not wrong. the dd-7 is its replacement. the dd-3 is the no-frills delay. shorter delay time range, and nothing but standard delay. the dd-7 comes with stereo output, and other delay modes like modulation mode and analog delay mode. also it has up to 6.4 seconds of delay time. i guess it depends on what you need. but then again i don't think you need a delay, since you don't seem to know what you want. 'fuller and shit like that' is pretty vague.

i think what you mean is that your distortion sound is too thin for your liking? that's probably due to your metal muff. however the EQ shld be sufficient in getting a full heavy sound. the delay might help a little if slapback is added but it wouldn't really sound the same. i suggest you looking for a distortion pedal that gives you the sound you want rather than relying on the delay. plus with the delay and heavy distortion, your sound could turn into a mess of notes.

seeing as you play metal, a few pedals you might wanna check out are the Subdecay Blackstar, MXR Distortion +, Zvex Box of Metal, and the Sansamp GT2, depending on your budget. Also try drive pedals like the Crowther Hotcake and Barber Direct Drive, which may give you the sound you're looking for.

I think you mean overdrive and distortion bro. From what I've tried so far overdrives tend to give me a warmer and fuller sound as compared to distortion. Distortions tend to give a harsher sound. But I don't think that's the actual difference. Someone else could help you out more on this, I'm not that qualified / knowledgable in this aspect. I play metal too and you could consider Randolf's modded Metalzone or the Sansamp GT-2. Works well for me at least. I hope that helps dude.
