DAMN!!! How to buy stuff online?

Sometimes can ask seller whether can ship to Singapore or not first. Some sellers think Singapore is part of Indonesia therefore scare of scam and dont dare to ship. Always try before giving up. ;)

It depends, if the seller only states local shipment then I don't bother, but if he states countries like Japan or Australia then I'll try my luck and usually they can ship here too.

its best to hear from those who got their gear from sweetwater or any online stores (if any) to tell about their experiences and advice.we seriously need guidance.show us the light to beautiful gear found on distant lands.

Hey dude, if you want any pickup, you dont actually need to go thru the vpost way. You can try ebay. And i mean ebay.com not sg one. Many seller are willing to ship to Singapore, and for extra $10USD, you can get the color covers for the dimarzios!

Guitar wise, my opinion is that the best and cheapest are not from MF or GC. I been to states before, I've been to GC, they handle thier instrument like things in NTUC. They buy in bulk thats why price cheap. So if you buy, not happy, or find similar items cheaper elsewhere, within 30days can return. But they are not the BEST priced, dealers giving the best price cannot offer these kind of sales and return service, bcos too expensive on the logistic backup. Try ebay again, look for reliable dealers with good ratings, go to your bank and pay wire transfer (pay like 30 to 40bucks service charge.) and you get the thing you want!

Do you mind sharing which ebay sellers who are willing to ship to Singapore?
I've had good experiences purchasing photography equipment from ebay sellers before who ship internationally.
So I don't mind trying ebay to get another couple of pickups if I know which seller I can get them from without much hassle.
Thanks.

Is ther anyone who succeeded buying things from musicianfriend, guitarcenter and sweetwater webshop? Please kindly share...

The only successful way to buy from them is by Vpost. You have to know how Vpost works. One and only way

Okay, I'm freaking frustrated! I can't seem to buy things online.

Problem no.1 :

The billing address have to be a US residencial address.

Problem no.2:

The credit card used must be issued in the US

Problem no.3:

Paypal sg, don't work. Needs to be paypal US with us billing address.

How does anyone manage to buy things from the states? Vpost won't work if you can't clear credit transaction with the merchant! Damn... MUCH HELP NEEDED!!!

If they say they dont ship outta USA, they normally dont ..but many other sites that do ....

most of the time you gotta email them directly for these kind of things and work something out rather than go thru the site

how much is the shipment cost by the way?
and besides the shipment fee and guitar itself
wad others do we need to pay for?

usually the normal shipment doesnt include hardcase.the guitar is packed into a box.if you opt for a hardcase then the shipping cost is more.

does our customs charge duty fees?

ive checked out Vpost.its cool.one of their listed merchant sites is musicians friends.compared the item on sweetwater with musician's friend, both are equally the same.with no shipping cost.now the only additional cost will through Vpost with weightage and all.should be costing a total sum of 1.2K.damn

I cant really remember which dealer. You just go ebay, look at those listing with BIN ones. I bought a Dimarzio Pro-Track at about 59.99USD, plus another 10usd for a color cover, and about 10usd for shipping to Spore. The dealer did not even provide int'l shipping initially. You see, there is this "sell seller question" function, just ask him if he can ship to "Singapore, postal code ######", I think they will very likely to do it. For info, the pup they stock are humongous, unlike our local dealer. Leaving them unsold? Hence they are very happy to ship. (But pay by paypal lah.)
