Daisy chain

I was just wondering, can you attach a daisy chain to another one already in use? Cos I got quite a few pedals, and the current 9 daisy chain I got isn't enough. (I need one more lol)

Using a VS 1-spot adapter, connected to the plug socket cube thing, with the 50W amp attached to the cube thingy aswell, cube does into the rectangular one with 4 sockets, with the TV, DVD and electric fan connected into it, and that goes into the wall.

If the end bit is redundant, then I'm using a 1-spot adaptof from Visual Sound :p

A OneSpot can pump 1700mA of juice. Give it in perspective, a typical OD needs 3-8mA of current, a digital delay 50-100mA. But inherit noises could come out when powering through a OneSpot. Thats why people make power supplies like the Fuel Tank or Voodoo.

I've been running 17 effects off a single 1Spot for about 2 years. I've measured and calculated that I can run 3 times these same effects.

You're probably in the green, don't worry. Just get another daisy chain and add it in. I used to have 4 of them connected together.

Are you referring to that weird popping sound that you hear when the thing to plug into the pedal is accidentally nudged or something?

Yes humming is what you don't want right, as a jang jang player.

Pros and cons with using a simple and effective device such as OneSpot. Why it causes it? I'm not the best to explain it to you. Hell I'm not even sure. But there are references online you can find to find out which is the best power supply to use for you.

I use onespot cause that's all I need. But I have rather noisy pedals through stage volume and if my guitar acts up hoho even worst. I will get a Fuel Tank one day, and have the onespot as a backup.

um, a little off topic, but i think you had better be careful, because it looks like your setup of ur plugs are inevitably going to start a fire. Remember, too many plugs into a single power output can short and start fires.

Thats why a mini fire extinguisher pedal is available. Comes with JRC4450 opamp.
