where to get customized guitars in sg? i mean at a decent price, and good quality stuff.

i will like to have a strato shape swamp ash body, with 22 fret with tree of life inlays, and a good bridge ( erm wiki? something spelled like tat or anyone recommend)? for pickups i have not decide yet. yeah izzit possible? any website? i got around 1.2k to spare, but should be able to squeeze 1.5k anytime, and maybe squeeze to 2k maybe saving for a month or 2 if really needed

it's Wilkinson .. anyway Razer .. if you want to have a custom guitar you can approach Guitar Workshop to built a Warmoth Custom for you ..

If you have like MasterCard or Visa .. you can actually order direct from Warmoth themselves .. www.warmoth.com and see what parts you want, read up on the guitar information and then choose the parts, calculate the costs. Best you can call them up.

Please be informed that Warmoth is located in the US, so you have to slowly go and calculate what time to call them in the middle of the night in Singapore. Get them to provide you with advice. My current bass guitar is a Custom Warmoth .. i really love it ..

shipping in the stuff already gonna cost quite a load... so make sure u check all your orders and ship in once...

chop of the brand, u'll get a custom guitar for 1.5k or so... and u'll see a fender with the same stuff in it at 3k or sumthing....

gonna do that one day... just need the cash... lol

i was really interested in doing one myself but when i saw the amount of effort that goes into making the neck i just kinda gave up. Luthery is hard work.

warmoth is like so X 8O, juz plainly getting a body and neck can easily cost me 1k 0.0. hmm actually even its brandless nvm, as long as quality is good. hmm, juz by counting the neck itself i think its already eats up 1/2 of my budget -_-

why don't you check the claasifieds and see if anyone 's selling parts. You can try assembling yourself.

razer, I'm sorry if I get this wrong but... you seem to be very new in this guitar area. I'm afraid that, despite our good recommendations, you might find the custom made guitar, not really custom made for you.

If you are new to electric guitar... it is wiser to go and get yourself a production model guitar, and play with it till you know what you want/need.

Otherwise, you get your nice custom with that wilk-something bridge, only to find that it ain't your cup of tea in the end.

Anyway, if you want a real custom, it will cost you more than 2k.

Hehe... Well, you know... a JEM has a route for a Floyd Rose with additional routing for the Lion's Claw, the monkey grip, recessed input and neck joint for a 24 fret neck...

Actually, come to think of it... its quite a bit of routing to do a custom JEM... Comes to about USD2k apparently from those dudes at jemsite...

I still want a 27 fret guitar... with floyd rose, a plethora of switches/pots/gadgets.... *sigh*

yeah i think tt's y the other time i asked the guitar workshop guy about custom-making our guitars he said they only custom-made guitars 4 ppl above 40 yrs of life on this planet cuz younger ppl dunno wat exactly they want...
he may sound a lil cocky at tt time..but i believe he meant well
