may i suggest bringing in Snake Oil Strings? loads of positive reviews on harmony central and online, apparently extremely long lasting,great tone and higher tension than other brands.

it seems that every string manufacturer says that 2 stufff... "extremely long lasting" & "great tone"...

Yeah, I'd like to read Subversion's review as well.
But at the end of the day, strings like many other things are based upon personal preferences.
Some people might swear by certain brands, but these same brand might just not feel right or work for you.

I week liao .... the curt angle strings .... still like curt angle ..... still going strong! About 10% tone loss..... ( I play about 2 -3 hours ) each day.

I'm a big fan of D'addarios.
To me, the Curt M is an upgraded D'addario.

Maybe I should really switch to CM strings..

I'm making a switch to the .10s. i find the treble strings on 9-42s to be too soft for my liking.
