Hi, Anyone using Cubase SX? I´m new to it so if you have any tips or info, please kindly share it with me.
THANX

personally i prefer cool edit pro (now adobe audition), it´s less messy and easier to use.

acid pro´s pretty good too.

Ive to agree Acid Pro is less messy, im using the Cubase ´coz someone gave it to me hehehe.....Ive not heard nor read bout the cool edit pro tho...
Do i need a good external speakers for monitoring?
THANX

I´ve tried all 3. Use cubase if you need midi because the rest suck plus cooledit´s a bit finicky with plugins. Then get up a few key bindings to help in the workflow.

If you want to record a good sound from your guitar, MIC and others, you can consider this:

Now, you can get it locally in s'pore, pls PM me if you need it

Just curious. How's Cubase with 64-bit nowadays? Any improvement on their updates?

Seems to have a strong Cubase/Steinberg following here.

Cubase 4 from SX3 was a huge makeover. and Cubase 5, even with it's minor change on the outside, has many sweet features added like VariAudio, REVerence, GrooveAgentONE, and LoopMash. do check out the website. it has improved a lot since SX3.
