i currently am borrowing this from a fren..

what i realise is that the wah effect isnt strong...or does the pedal need tweaking and such?

oh yar...it doesnt need the click sound to activate...i dunno what to call it...

its just step and pedal it and then u get the wah...well,is there any tone loss or anything? coz the pedal is supposedly switch on anytime is in a pedal chain..

well...yeah,i need people's gripes on this pedal to help me decide to buy it or not..

please comment :)

oh yar..i repeat..its Crybaby 95Q Dunlop

Hmm.

^^ I beg to differ because I ain't no pouffe! I just find the crybaby models with the switch a little too troublesome. I like how i can just let go of the pedal and it goes off by itself.

Anyways, the 95Q (which I am using currently) is pretty versatile, because you can adjust the level of sweep for the volume and the EQ.

The adjustment knobs for those two are at the left-hand-side of the wah pedal (in case you haven't noticed it), and the little red button on the right-hand side is to switch between volume or wah mode.

I find the sweep curve of the wah mode a little too shallow myself, but even for the volume mode, depressing the pedal incites a pretty obvious wah sound, not the kind of sound we'd except from a passive volume pedal.

But other than that it's pretty much alright... just need to change batteries once in a while.

the red button is actually for boost if i not wrong

yup, the red button (for models that have it) is a fasel inductor. helps boost the wah signal.

As for your problem about the wah effect, it really depends on what kind of tone you want lah, almost no guitarist shares his idea of "the ultimate tone" with any other. As for mods, randolf does some pretty sick wah mods, either that, or keep trying wahs until you find your ultimate baby. 8)

the problem is..... it's a girl model lah.... get the guy one

what is a guy model?!?! :smt102

and yeah i know about the knobs...i'm gonna play around with them tmr..its kinda weak..but i like the push back of the pedal..very convinient...

please more comments..and if a 95Q isnt a good choice...what is UR choice of a better pedal?

we're not saying the 95q isnt a good wah bro. it's good in its own way. but theres so much more out there, weeping demon, the entire crybaby series, like shredcow says, the teese RMC wahs, fulltone. vox. the list is endless man. but for me i like something thats tweakable like the RMC2, 535q or clude deluxe.

i prefer the morley bad horsie, bad horsie 2 and mark tremonti power wah...they hav hav their own special tone that i love haha

Shredcow has already said it, teese rmc wah's. The wizard wah is quite a nice and good wah with a big sweep.

Or you could get the crybaby 535q which has the red fasel inductor i think.

535Q needs to click on it before it can be used! thats the problem...too troublesome..

and what about this Teese RMC? where can i find it..and what price will it be?

you can get the teese RMC's from mrmisse (www.mrmisse.com/gas.htm , look for Real Mccoy Custom.) the RMC1 is 300, RMC 2 is 400 and RMC 3 is 490 i think. all way more expensive than a crybaby, but thing is, most wah's have to be clicked to engage, it can be left on so you can just leave it and not get any wah effect, i think. can anyone confirm this?

Those which need to be clicked activated can be true bypass. Those which turn on on their own are very seldom true bypassed, I do not know of any so far.

its the 95Q its activated by itself..

its easy though..yeah it does suck away the volume...but placing it at the back of a pedal chain...helps...

uh, the gcb95 should be clicked to be activated, unless the switch's loose and you dont quite year the click sound. but from my understanding, it should have.

its ok...but i need feedback from more users of 95Q...i wanna know whether y'all satisfied with the wah sound of it..and what type of music suits its level of wah..

my friends using the 95q with the fasel inductor use it mainly for old school rock, like judas priest, ACDC, that kinda era. its not quite suited for the more heavy stuff though.
