Crumpler bags.

What's the hype over these Crumpler bags I've been hearing? Anybody care to update me??

I only notice its quite popular among schooling kids.

legend has it that, they used to be handmade custom ordered bags from Australia. and the guy will make a few bags only, as-and-when he feels like it. that was way before they were big. but like always, best-kept-secret always don't last being best-kept-secret! everyone wants one when cooler-than-cool individuals started sporting them. so, they are made for the masses now in a factory in Vietnam so that everyone that decided to be cool can buy them...

And for the timbuk2 bags... what size would be advisable for a student use?

Hmmz which timmbuk2 model is the normal one. Assuming i get one of that at medium, any idea how much exactly it would cost? And where's the bag made in..?

the normal or "original" timbuk2 is the messenger bag series. it is made in the US. it cost me $139, if i'm not wrong... the other series are made in China by the way...
