Anyone have crumpler bags? what models do you recommend? my friend has this, "Captain Weenie" that i wanna get but i cant find it on the official webby.

oh any, anyone knows where to get crumpler bags cheap? =D theres 77th, er the crumpler bag shop in wheelock. where else? thanks

Crumpler is no doubt very durable. I used to buy so many 'lookalikes' for prices that is only 2/10 of the originals and I break them within two months.. eventually, I settle for the real thing and been using for 2 years plus now.. still GOOD condition!!! No kiddin! :D

I think the models are jus a preferences of looks to different ppl. They all last the same. :)
 
it's definitely good but it's so expensive...I believe in paying for quality but try telling my parents that, heh.

Well, if i'm not wrong, there are some models that I saw that were only $90 odd .. you might like to go for that. :D
 
try urban equip USA ... i bought a bag pack / laptop bag for only around $40++

cheap and good. looks good too. u know me la i wont buy ugly things one.

hahahahhha... crumpler. it used to be unknown. but now its everyehere... heheehehheh... i'm using the "seedy three" messenger bag and the "super snipe". i'm selling away the "seedy three" tho. $60... but its the old skool version, with the logo in square, not round. and its in "oatmeal" colour... just one colour. PM me if ur interested.
 
$90 is still a lot to pay for bag, in my parents' opinion. if I want the bag I earn the money. holiday job, anyone? heh.
 
hahahahhha! timbuk2 is better IMO too! u can choose ur own color! and the bag will be ready in abt 3weeks. and its made in the States (not Vietnam like Crumpler)-but only for their messenger bags. i own 2 of them currently! one is dee dog (L) and el oncho (M). the inner lining is heavy duty REAL CANVAS it lasts long and is water proof! one of mine is more than 5yrs old and still repel water. but be aware, that makes it a bit heavier than the Crumpler. i ordered one for my wife and she find it uncomfortable bcos of the weight and shape. (Crumpler has got more shape options)

and it is still $100++
 
there are 2 shops i know that take order for timbuk2 (but i guess they go thru Fall Factor too!):
-one is a camping goods shop at Peninsula Plaza 2nd floor, just beside the escalator.
-the other is a shop at Funan called MacShop i guess. its in the 4th level

when u want to place order, they will let u see/touch the material samples/colours u can choose from. but choose wisely, once made, the bag is urs to keep...
 
haha yeah timbuk2 is good! I'm intending to get a medium sized messenger sometime soon, hope fall factor has the color combination that I want so I don't have to custom order it......

But custom order doesn't have any extra charges though! Good deal for those who want to get a custom bag! :D
