*shhh* keep it quiet guys...or timbuk2 will become the next crumpler. and all the spoilt rich kids who can splurge hundreds on a single item without thinking will be going, 'daddy i want one...'
oh goodness I sound bitter. I'm not really. just that sometimes I wish I had a little more money. I'm a mercenary materialistic fool. sigh.

hahahahhha! timbuk2 is better IMO too! u can choose ur own color! and the bag will be ready in abt 3weeks. and its made in the States (not Vietnam like Crumpler)-but only for their messenger bags. i own 2 of them currently! one is dee dog (L) and el oncho (M). the inner lining is heavy duty REAL CANVAS it lasts long and is water proof! one of mine is more than 5yrs old and still repel water. but be aware, that makes it a bit heavier than the Crumpler. i ordered one for my wife and she find it uncomfortable bcos of the weight and shape. (Crumpler has got more shape options)

and it is still $100++

I'm drooling just simply at the thought of this bag!!! Hmmm! I'm going to hunt for it too! heheheh.. but must wait for Payday! :D

ya!! timbuk is nice. i just visited the site.
oh wrlls.
should i use part of my 50 bucks and save somemore to buy it?
i think better not.
how do you guys feel comfortable about sling bags? my shoulders aren't meant for slings. more for backpacks.
but if i were to get one, it'd be black, orange, black. the others all orange.

do we have to pay for shipping price?

u don't have to order thru the net, u can place the order here in singapore. there are two shops that does the ordering for u. check out the earlier post in this thread.

Haha i just got my crumpler bag from paragon though. Thanks anyway for the timbuk info. Will check it out again when my angbao money comes in or i go work haha.

Black grey combo leh! But ex, 179 :(

Man, the Chrome bag looks so damn appealing coz of the strap... Anyone intending to order it, could u plz tell me the charges (incl delivery).... Arrgh need to start saving. Or do they have a shop in singapore which sells their stuff?

And for the timbuk2 bags... what size would be advisable for a student use?

it depends on how much stuff u load in ur bag on a typical school day. either M or L. i've got both. but i found the L is too big for normal/everyday usage. unless i'm bringin loads of efx for my jam sessions, or need to chug loads of things in the bag.

check them out at the store in Peninsula Plaza 2nd floor. its an outdoor/camping shop bside the escalator. u might probably be able to see the right size for urself. also, bigger bag size might be uncomfortable to a smaller built person. my wife found the L size too big, uncomfortable and heavy for her.

Chrome doesn't have a dealer in Singapore, if you're intending to import it from the states, prepare to pay about 200-300, not only because of shipping, but because the bag itself is HUGE and expensive..... (When I mean HUGE I really mean HUGE lol, I think most of their bags cover the entire back 8O)

For timbuk2 you could also check out Fall Factor, I think it's near Queensway Shopping Center.

What's the hype over these Crumpler bags I've been hearing? Anybody care to update me??
