COLDPLAY is confirmed coming to SINGAPORE!

the increased prices just underline the fact that coldplay are the most successful, grammy winning sellouts. does anyone truly believe that their latest album was so amazingly good that it deserved a grammy?

let us not even begin to discuss how a copyrighted song won song of the year. and we can still talk about bands getting ripped off by illegal file-sharing? unbelievable.

it is my honest belief that coldplay won all their grammys in part because of their earlier works that went mostly unrewarded.

once again, is viva la vida coldplay's best album? by such a distance?

maybe a grammy isn't what it used to be. nevertheless they can take their place next to the big winners; country western and r&b artists.

Does anyone know of the other ticket prices for this gig?

I sooo want to go for the $248 one, but it is really difficult to find people who are as willing to pay that amount for a ticket!

(Although I am still in the process of psycho-ing my fellow friends. )

Hmm, I guess it also has to do with stage production costs. When Coldplay 1st came and did that double bill with Travis (which was awesome), I think the set up was very simple. 2006 there were much better lights and visuals all around the stadium and even the big yellow confetti filled balloons. I think for this upcoming show it should be better then the last one.

I cannot believe this. Death Cab For Cutie all over again. I *need* those tickets. Gaaaah! I missed Chris Martin and gang the last time they were here with Travis. I'd love to see them at least once in my lifetime!

I still cannot forget the huge yellow balloons, confetti, the beautiful visuals and Chris Martin appearing from the crowd at the back ala David Copperfield. Haha. That was in 2006.
