hi,wanna know if the craftsman guitar + amp packages are value-for-money?
are craftsman guitar reliable in terms of worksmanship?because the prize for one package is unbelivably cheap, which leads me to wonder if the guitars are super, super low end,or are they well-to-do.comes with modelling line-6 amp, which is what makes these packages so attractive!

scroll to somewhere in the middle of the package to check out these packages i'm talking about:

edit:for those people who have helped me out on my previous thread and recommended me the Rally GL-300/400 LP copies...are the Craftsman GS100 far from the Rally in terms of sound quality?I mean...I think the Craftsman only has one humbucker, and it's ceramic(whatever difference that makes).Because,if the two are not that different,I wanna get the package from CityMusic...everything in one, lol.

lol, nvm, thread closed.the lp copies,GS-200 line seems to have rather bad reviews of the pick-ups...might as well just get a rally lp,with great stock pickups and a sound-drive sg10 and the korg.>.>

wow, you sure change your mind to and fro very quick. maybe in the end you won't even settle on the rally, sound drive and korg cos you'll change your mind again >.<

one of the best thing bout internet forums is the amount of info one can gather inorder to buy someting

But at the same time, its also a disadavtange coz the info will be overwhelming and getting more confused about what to get in the end

hehe, no one will get it right with their first guitar, first amp and first gadget etc. The more we are wondering whats best, the further we will be, away from the essence of all these gear, thats, to play music..

Dude. Why don't you just go down and try it?? Citymusic staff are really friendly and accommodating. It's not like the guitar will fall apart when you play it at home. You like the sound then get it.

I got my first guitar without trying anything out, but I was lucky to get something decent.

lol chill van_halen.

yeah man consider what Revelt said; the best thing for you to do is to go try out the guitars and see if you like them.

also, 'more' humbuckers =/= better

>_>

agree with pathein. internet can be quite overwelming to the uninitiated. my first guitar, i was like "woah. les paul. like slash." then i buy, then i test. lol.

TS: i hope u do test out the current recommendations u gather before asking more opinions about other stuffs.

lol my first guitar was the lowwwwwesstttt one from craftsman with the package that came with tuner picks strap and spider 3
I rmbr i was too shy to try cuz din know how to play anything xD
The staff is very friendly and yea i advise you to just go down and try it yourself.
And well if your afraid the stuff will fall apart due to really crap quality it doesnt... Im still using the same cable/tuner/amp as they gave me :D
