Yes! Recommend me some old school christian rock bands. Emo punk not really my type.
1) Ressurection Band's last album "Lament" is awesome!
2) Petra's "Unseen Power", "More Power to Ya" and " Beyond Belief" are must-haves!!
3) The Choir "Flap your wings" just look at who is in the band would make u want to buy this band's album! This album is only $10 at Trumpet Praise!!!
4) Stryper - they have a best of album out recently. Made me want to grow my hair again
5) Tourniquet - if u dun like thrash metal, check out the more "singing" album in "Vanishing Lessons". Ted Kirckpatrick is one of the best drummer on planet drums!
6) Newsboys - the only reason I started listening to them is because they collaborated with Steve Taylor, one of the best song writers in Christian music
7) Larry Norman - He is a pioneer of "Jesus" rock and roll. Sadly his CDs are only available in his website
www.larrynorman.com. He is like dylan. Very influential, if not for poor distribution of his CDs. This guy's live album is something you might want to dig. I have two of them. It's really really one of a kind! Though much of what he plays is blues, but when he strap a guitar and sing those songs. it really made u listen. It also inspires me to play guitar like him too.
8) Keith Green - This guy is so firey! Not only his passion for Christ and the gospel but also in his piano playing. He sings and play the piano while recording (just like Ray!), coz the producer thinks it brings out the power and energy in his playing and voice. Most important of all, this man's passion for God is just so infectious! U cannot not be affected by his life and his message. Some people call him a "prophet" because of the messages he preached. Died in 1982 at the age of 28.
9)Guardian - I only bought the CDs which were produced by Steve Taylor.
10) Holy Soldier - forget their 3rd CD "promise man" the must have is the debut album!!! Buy the live album "encore" if u want a taste of both old and new.
11) Neal Morse- Former lead singer/ keyboardist and multi instrumentalist of proigressive giant "Spock's Beard". He began a Christian and record a double album entitled "Testimony" which recieved great reviews even despite it's spiritual theme. The drummer for this album is his friend Mike Portnoy of Dream Theatre! Wah!!! Cannot take it ah! Must buy!!!

Mortification (old-skool Metal)
Living Sacrifice (Hardcore/Metal, the must-hvae-album is "REBORN" )
Zao (Hardcore/Metal, the must-have album is "All Else Fails", it's a worship album!!)
