Actually the reason why a JW refuses to hold a weapon to defend his nation like what NS is doing is because the JWs believe that every nation on Earth are considered evil and are created by the devil. The only nation that that is free from all evil is the Kingdom of God.
That's why they refuse to sing the national anthem in school and hold a rifle to defend his country (NS)....

since this thread is about christian bands, i wanna inquire something about christian music,
christian bands claim they play music to worship jesus. which means the lyrics must be related to god or jesus.
doesnt that imply that theres a limited amount of songs that can be written about god ?
im trying to say that, is there so much about worshipping god that can cut out, maybe 15 originals ?

so how can that be true? the earth has just turned to wickedness, and God reigns in heaven, the devil is the prince of the world, but u make the decision if u want to be of this world or of the Kingdom of Heaven. In other words, it's your soul that matters

haha...i just came home from bible study. Pastor prince! anyone was there? aiya, no point trying to argue with JW, cos they have a different kind of God as most christians have. Our bible seems different from theirs? im not sure...cos they say have to follow the word exactly....and everything...so they say cannot kill, thus cannot go ns, but then Jesus said we have to submit to our kings, rulers and authorities! then how? I also dunno...lol...All i know is my God is good to me, and i am made righteous in him through the finished work of Jesus! 8)

haha, neuro182, outsider can join any of their service, cos they wont even ask u anything if u are outsider or what at all..in fact, many outsiders attend the midweek services too. u know i dunno why got so many accusations that NCC is a "youth church" or a church that keeps bugging and pestering ppl to join or what..cos we don't even have any evangelical activities/drives at all. All the members is come n join us thru normal services on sunday or midweek. N we only have about 600 youths out of 12,000 members...then they also accuse us of being a "prosperity church". But those ppl nv even hear b4, they dunno that everything being said is supported by the bible!
Today pastor prince cracked a funny joke...he said, "If someone accuses you of going to a "prosperity" church, then u tell them sacarstically, MY CHURCH PREACHES POVERTY, CURSES, SICKNESS, what does yours? :wink:

haha im going for friday's service. yeah God said we are IN the world but not OF the world. yes 600 hundred youths is alot. n its definitely by God's grace n favour on the youth ministry. 3 yrs ago, when i was still servin in teenzeal, the then youth ministry, now called 'DARE', one particular sunday service at suntec's convention centre ballroom, we hit 200. we all so excited n stuff. haha.
