And there's no doubt about who these people are... Chrisitans. I'm a Christian myself and i don't think metal is sign of the devil all the time. That's why bands such as As I Lay Dying is a phenomenon proving that there's nothing wrong with Christians playing metal.

INVERT THE INVERTED CROSS!! CRUSH THE BLOODIED HORNS OF THE GOAT!! I still haven't heard it, but it would be hilarious.. But apparantly its good music, its the drummer on the first few Mortification albums.. Some people call them anti-antichristian unblack metal..

I think that Christianity should not be associated with black metal, its ideology is totally different..

well, antichrist lyrics do give me a sense of discomfort..but ther r black metal bands who arent christian n invert crosses but their lyrics arent all the time antichrist..check out this band chthonic...
n the distorted vocals cant really be made out by listening anywei..

btw,POD is indeed christian,juz tt they dont do christian rock..they've said it in an interview...

btw,tt genre of metal u were talking about, it's more commonly known as christian black metal..or holy unblack metal..do a search at youtube...

Not saying christians can't listen to black metal.. But black metal's all about the feeling, the general cold, gloomy, grim, evil feeling.. Black metal is usually about the forests, antichristianity, Paganism.. Thats why christian black metal sounds like an oxymoron to me..

and as whether ur hindu or muslim or christian or a jehovah's witness, you still have the right to listen to whatever genre there are around. God didnt tell you that you must stay away from Deicide or Slayer because they are antichrist.

heck even Slayer's frontman is a devout catholic.

learn to seperate music from religion, and learn to run your own lives, not let your religions run it for you, then you can truly find the real meaning of life.
