heh, i meant it to be over the top so that it will seem over reacting and people wud rather spend time on writing music, exploring ways of recording techniques or finding ways that wud do a more pratical and economical ways on music production then to find the tiny lil different on a piece of instrument which just make a tini lil part on the overall context of music, in general.

ok, back to colours

nope, using the samick neck, sanded away the brand already, maybe next time when got money then upgrade to a fender shaped neck, gonna try doing inlays on this samick neck.. :)

haha, thanks, everything im doing on this guitar is 1st try, but with alot of read up, so im just gonna count on them info to guide me through..:)

drill away the dot inlay, then chisel out what i want to inlay then use the soldering metallic inlay method.. i dont think i can do the acrylic or abalone ones anyway, too much work and super difficult :)

man id say. maybe put some transparent finish onto it. slap on a black or dark green pearloid pickguard and ure seriously ready to rock. and id have to say it took balls to do that to ur guitar but the current unfinished product looks like an artwork itself.

wayne.. i seriously hope u've nt done that method u mentioned.. it'll really fail terribly.. have u seen some1 who succeeded with tt method? i've personally not. Solder don't stick to non metallic surface that easily.. and you are trying to stick a big bunch of them? They are not silver and will not flow into the inlay slot u've chiseled.. unless u r intending to use silver.. which again silver wun stick to the wooden surface after they've cooled and regain solid state..

haha.. k phew.. havent done it yet, but plan out already, haha, maybe nvm then.. maybe next time got time then try pearl inlays on some blank wood first..

hey gr3y, i tried the solder method on a old piece of wood, seems to stick well, but i kinda accidentally burnt the side of the hole, and it will require quite a bit of sanding to smoothen it with the wood, not sure whether gonna try it a not, the method will work but it doesnt look professional..
but it does have the shiny surface instead of the normal pearl inlays

ya wayne.. do e traditional method better.. u want a guitar u'll love after all e hardwork anyway rite?

haha, dont want to follow u do kfc la, i do mcdonald...
