Chinese Democracy

hmm... that's odd. Perhaps they were talking about the initial recordings for UYI??? Dunno lah... history liaoz...

Chinese Democracy rocks!!! "This I Love" is an awesome ballad!!!!!

Whatever it is, i am pretty sure Adler is on the AFD album as well as GNR Lies....refer to amnesiac's post.

I've got Slash's autobiography to prove it too. From the man himself

Gave Chinese Democracy quite an extended listening..

And to cut the long story short,

1. Does not have the traditional GNR feel/vibe
2. Many styles mashed into one
3. Axl tries too hard to be edgy, seems to be wailing like a noisy siren on every track
4. Great guitarists like Robin Finck, Richard Fortus, a lil' of Buckethead, however Bumblefoot absolutely does not fit the bill IMO
5. Not worth the 14 (or rather 17) year wait
6. Still quite good as an album without taking reference from any past albums
7. Good production quality

IMHO

Overall : Disappointed!

im loving it! makes me forget slash, AFD and all that overplayed sweet child stuff.... definitely a breath of fresh air.

The album initially didn't struck me anything near good.

But do listen with an open mind. You'll be surprisingly pleased.

Well, I'm glad I did. Loving it currently.

Yay i buying the album next week =)

Btw..GN'R Rocks man..but sometimes Axl crossed the line liao..

I mean
Kurt Cobain
Vince Neil
Bon Jovi
Scott weiland
Slash
And some other artist..

Axl offends them...and even jumps into fan.lol
I don't think "coke" will affect that?I mean coke
only gets you pump up with engery

Yea,Axl offends them,th st louis riot was dam stupid of him to jump in the pit and attack the man filming him.I wonder if I would kena from Axl since I am gig photographer.Hahaha

Finished listening the whole album and the lyrics along, since the demo I've thought the music has matured and mellowed alot. I like the way its heading. Its no Appetite but holds its own. Great production as well. I also love the fact that in the credit he thanked kimi raikkonen, haha. Makes me want to make an album and thank hulk hogan in my credits.

Axl ain't that slow. Sebastian Bach, Axl's good friend, states that Axl has enough material for 4 or 5 albums. He also said that Axl had told him that he would release the 3rd new album in 2012. Chinese Democracy is just the beginning.
