Yes - it can be - it depends. Some places can be more expensive.

Which countries do you know are cheaper? To be honest I'm lazy to do comparisons because the cost differential is nominal - and quite troublesome to carry on the plane. I like to buy at Changi where the shopping experience is more pleasant, and I get Krisflyer discount too :)

Haha

KrisFlyer selection v limited. Maybe wen i fly over to Vietnam or Bangkok, i can get some for e SOFTies? Its relatively cheaper in those 3rd world countries :) 1 draft of beer (any brand) cost me less than SGD $1 *lolx*

I got a fren who works in e Airport T2 Transit. Any idea how he can transport some Liquors out?

Re: Haha

get a van with the green dot sticker. stuff alll the giant pile of beer into the van , drive the van out of airport

Duty free. :)

I travel abroad about 3 times a month.

1 Litre Bombay Sapphire Gin + 3 Cans Tiger = $25! NOW DAT'S LOW! :)

Hehe I gotta say i always grab a bottle of vodka at the duty free.

Ai..Ya !!! This is the irrelavant thread I have ever seen..Suddenly all musicians start talking about drinking... :( :(

James !! You too Brutus !! :?:

The subtitle under Kopi-tiam is "Say anything under the Sun!".

No offence, but nobody is forcing you to participate in the thread... there is too much of people saying how things are irrelevant and asking for threads to be locked or deleted. As far as I am concerned, so long as nobody says anything illegal, offensive or too contentious, then why not? I'd say, for cost-conscious Singapore musicians who are also interested in drinking alcohol, this thread is extremely relevant.

Oh no no

i dunnoe abt other people, as far as im concerned, im a social drinker & i dun force gallons of alcohol down my throat for the "shiok"ness or wat. i mean people drink jus for leisure & stuffs, so can u relax & lyk chill cuz im sure we all noe wat we're doing.

well, china is quite cheap! but far, nonetheless. haha. in tioman - tiger, heinekin, 3 Ringgit for a can. whoo

All airports are duty free right? 3 ringgit for a can of beer will be my dream man.. S$1.50 per can.. But beer is fattening. :(

actuallly, i am trying to see if we can attract some liquor company sponsors! :drinkers:

if that happens, we wont need to worry about the operational cost of running this website anymore. :partyman:
