Changing string gauge on a Floyd Rose, need some help

There's no recommended gauge.

Just because the stock guitars come with 9s does not mean you can't string with 10s. Or 11s.

You know what happened when you went up from 9s to 10s. You would have noticed the trem feels stiffer now. You had to adjust the trem claw. Now obviously, if you intend to use the trem, you wouldn't want it incredibly stiff right? Some people like it that way though. And obviously, if you wanted to go up higher, all you need would be more springs.

I'd be more concerned about the neck integrity than the floyd rose in this matter.

Yes, yes, there's no denying that I'm worried about that too. I'm going to a luthier to get it set up. Thanks for the advice and warning. I'll try to bring it either to Beez or Davis to get it set up. Thanks for all the help, guys.
