Everytime I turn on my Yamaha EX5 synthesizer, it says "Change internal battery" on the LCD display... What does it mean? and How should I go about solving it?
It means exactly what it says - that the internal battery is running dry and need replacement. The internal battery make sure your edited patches gets stored in the memory.
All you need is a screw driver and a new battery. The battery is a CR2032 lithium. There are instructions on how to do it in the manual. Otherwise look here... http://www.attfield.co.uk/ex/romreplacementp3.htm
