CH-1 good???

be glad that the old birds of this forum have yet to ask you to do a search on google.

I did reply your previous thread regarding effect reviews. there should be more than enough reviews on harmony central for you to read all day.

CH-1 is a decent chorus pedal in my opinion.

Question: Have you tried the CH1 yourself?

No point seeking other people's opinions all the time. We have different tastes.

If you want recommendations for different choruses - search this sub-forum. Answered to death.

forget dreamy choruses if u are touching on the ch-1. it provides a really thin chorus. sounds kinda like thickening of ur sound. personally i find the chorus too weak, i'm more of a swirl-ish type of chorus guy...

im new at experimenting with effects..
what's your take on the BOSS CH-1?
any recommendations???

You gotta try it out personally. There are many chrous pedals around. Analog chorus, tri-chorus, Dimension C, etc... I personally like the tri-chorus in my Line6 MM4. Kick in a reverb & wala!!!!!!!

true to the voice of soft members...

SEND IT FOR MODS!!!!

ch1 is a workhorse. not the best but if you need a chorus... its a chorus.

I liken it to Walls vanilla ice cream. If you need vanilla icecream and you only have your one and only provision shop downstairs.. get the walls vanilla. If you're walking around mall and come across Anderson or Haagen Daz or in msia Baskin Robbins... then go for those.

Any one know the difference between the older CH1s and the newer ones?

I HEARD the older ones use some sort of analog chip or something?

The CE-2 is da BESTEST CHORUS!!!

Dun get it and you will regret it!

there was one guy selling one. unfortunately, he doesnt want to sell it anymore. $200 for a black labelled MIJ CE-2 is not a scary price really...

eh Daniel, cannot say the CE-2 is the bestest chorus. must say your super zhng-ed up CE-2 is da BESTEST CHORUS!!!

it's still vanilla no? :D
A boutique vanilla, that is.

Some people will just insist that Haagen Daz vanilla taste better than Walls'.

How different can a vanilla be? once you mix it into a cup of Root Beer or use it as topping for a nice hot brownie or banana split, you can't even tell which one is Walls or Haagen Daz or Baskin Robbins.

hur hur hur.... disclaimer: shred the below is not aimed at you ah... No F of lame. ok?

A LOT of forum experts would like to say that the CH1 sounds digital and say dirty words about it cos its digital.

Well you guys... Here's a reality check and sorry to burst your pro analogue ego.

Like it or not the BOSS CH1 is 100% analogue.

you'll be surprised. Have you worked for an expensive cafe that serve Hot brownie with vanilla ice cream topping? you think they use haagen daz or baskin robbins?

Ugh. Dun talk about that... some expensive cafes, the ice cream they use, HORRID. UGH.

I have no idea what is Baskin Robbins though... i know Walls and Haagen Daz though, and I cannot fathom that they be similiar...
