I have no idea how the original song is like... hardly listen to JB... but this being a track done from the ground up, very nice!

The mix is good, I swear I need some better recording equipment...

You're not using fingers eh? Can't really pick up the sound of flesh on string and that (more) vocal-like sound it produces.

Some tiny parts the whammy-ing was out... but thats not really an issue lah.

Otherwise, its nearly flawless I think. Good job on this. :D

What is the tone capacitor type and value on your guitar?
 
There is no tone cap on this Brian Moore.The whole tone circuit is now replaced with a blender pot(1.push/pull 500k pot which activates parallel/series connections,2.blends any pickup at all switch positions).
The pickups are Area 58(N) / Area 58(M) / Tone Zone(B)...all Dimarzios.
Other mods will include an Earvana nut installation over the stock for a killer intonation.
Coming up will be a Piezo bridge replacement.

Yup, I like it! In fact the very same song by Beck inspired me to pick up guitar again after a long hiatus, though I could not reproduce what khaos has done just now yet. Sweet, sugary tone bro.

It takes real bravery to cover Mr Beckola himself.

The melody lines may sound easy but the nuances and individual dynamics and phrasing of each note is nuts!

Nice job, one of my fave guitar instrumentals of all time.

Your tone, vibrato and bending is spot on.

I love the personal interpretation of the solo 8)
