can anyone teach me how to do the wirings?
preferbably living in the east.

tried learning through the net.
but seems its my head that needs some wiring.
i got haywire.
but i'm optimistic through practical i can learn. VERY FAST.

anyone willing to help me? please.
i'm not rich. but i'll pay with whatever i have.
thanks,

khai.

can i learn too? hahaha

but if u do ur own wiring, wat's the advantage? save money, learn stuff?

Erm. No. You wouldn't be saving money unless you already know how to solder stuff.

You'll end up damaging lots first and spending a lot of time figuring out stuff.

Do it if you are truely interested, otherwise, don't... It'll cost you.

Nothing beats hands on. i find its the best way to learn.. could i tag along as well? i live in the east ..ive some experience with soldering.. but i want to see hoe its done properly2 before embarking on a proj of my own

heyhey i wanna join too..i did rewiring b4 but it aint pretty..some can get frustrating.. i wanna see what mods shreddy has

Okay... there's 3 guys now.. .hahaha! :)

Anyway, here were the mods I have done...

Coil Split
Out of Phase

You guys can play with the Fender No Load Tone Pot too...

And ah... erm... hahaha... thats it. :)

I have wired practically every kinda active / passive bass, guitar & accoutic guitar...my 2 cents word of advise - STEWART MCDONALD/DAN ERLEWINE BOOK OF GUITAR REPAIR - its the 1st step. Then practise on a yard sale (or you r enemy's) guitar before you do your own.

Remember that diff pup manufacturers hv diff colour code wiring so BEWARE...

besides da book, get a nice 40W "goot" solder, non acidic thin rol of solder, wire stripper, pair of good cutting pliers and solder wax...and pray hard...

cheers 8)

Heh. Khai, whats up with your eyes? ;)

is solder wax a must? i was hoping to wire up my sustainiac kit(*tts already a super cheem thing) with push/pull pots .. i think i'll just learn from shred but send my axe to a shop..

hey, your sustainiac thing, PLEASE, do A LOT of research on the wiring.

Don't just go push pull because you dont'want to alter your guitar's appearance.

And send it to a reliable tech.
