Calling on all the Jrock siao !

HEY GUYS !

Recently I've become very interested in the genre of Jrock/Pop. I was just wondering, if there were any opportunities in singapore where musicians with similar interests perform ?

Haha frankly im also really really new to the genre. (I've only listen to a few songs from larc, Mucc, our animes and a little sounds tracks here and there =x )

All you Jrockers out there ! would you recommend me some artists ? Im not a die hard fan of the hard stuff. But as of now. I'd just like to look around maybe check out what are the stuff i might like or not within the genre ??

Actually, locally there are instances when you get to attend gigs with J-rock in the itinerary. Local band Quis has been doing covers for some Japanese songs including anime soundtracks as well. (i got to know about them through Cosfest 2010's Open category competition. They did Digimon's Butterfly damn well and won the category) You can also find them on Youtube
